Oh no - Test time is here again! Will we be highly effective teachers this year? Let's hope so.
This week before the test, make sure:
- your students understand the format of the test
- your students know some of the often repeated test phrases such as
- to practice skimming texts for information
- students understand the meaning of: "significance," "except," "contribute" and "contrast"
- practice main idea/detail questions without a text
